How it works

The LaserMach Pro combines three wavelengths. Alexandrite (755nm) suits fair skin and finer hair, diode (808nm) suits most skin types, and Nd:YAG (1064nm) is the preferred choice for darker skin tones. The laser heats the hair follicle while the hair is in its active growth phase, which stops it regrowing. Because not every hair is growing at the same time, a course of sessions is needed.

• Gliding technique. The handpiece glides continuously over the skin, building heat gradually rather than firing single hard pulses, which most clients find comfortable.
• A modern diode system. Diode lasers are designed for fast, consistent treatment of large areas like legs and backs.
• Cleaner air. Our Alsident fume extraction system removes laser plume from the treatment-room air as we work, so you and your therapist aren't breathing it in.

How many sessions you'll need

Many clients notice a clear difference after four sessions, especially on smaller areas. For lasting results we usually recommend 6–12 sessions. Keep to your schedule: skipping or delaying sessions lets hairs move out of the treatable growth phase and slows your progress.

Downtime and comfort

Little to none – mild redness or warmth for a few hours. A warm flick. Built-in cooling and gel keep it comfortable.

How to prepare

• Shave the area 24 hours before – no waxing or plucking
• Avoid sun and tanning before your appointment
• Come make-up free for facial areas
• Wait 2–4 weeks after Botox or fillers in the area
• Tell us about medications and recent treatments
• Take preventative antivirals if you get cold sores and are treating the face

Is laser hair removal permanent?

It gives long-term hair reduction. Most clients keep smooth skin with an occasional top-up session, especially where hormones drive hair growth.

Can you treat dark skin?

Yes. The LaserMach Pro's 1064nm Nd:YAG wavelength is designed for darker skin tones, and we set the laser for your skin and hair at every visit.

Can I wax between sessions?

No. Waxing and plucking remove the hair root the laser needs to target. Shaving is fine.

How much does it cost?
