Fresh Start Laser & Skin is a laser and skin clinic on Plenty Road in Preston, helping clients across Melbourne's northern suburbs – including Reservoir, Northcote, Bundoora and Greensborough – improve and manage the skin concerns that bother them most.
We offer laser hair removal for all skin types, laser tattoo removal, laser skin rejuvenation for pigmentation and sun damage, micro-needling for acne scars and fine lines, skin tag and milia removal, skin peels and clinical facials – each with a treatment plan built around your skin.
Every treatment is performed by a diploma-qualified Skin Therapist using TGA-registered, medical-grade devices in a clean, professional clinic.

At the heart of Fresh Start Laser & Skin is Iballa, our founder, senior therapist and clinic manager. With 26 years of hands-on experience in the skin and laser industry, she's known for her clinical expertise, her warm nature and her commitment to helping clients feel confident in their skin.
Iballa completed her Diploma of Beauty Therapy at Central TAFE Perth in 2002, then went on to advanced training in laser safety, dermal therapies and medical-grade technologies, earning her WA Laser and IPL Safety Certificate and Laser Safety Officer qualification. She began her career in Western Australia – one of only three states where using a laser for cosmetic treatment requires a government licence.
She has led and worked in respected clinics across Western Australia and Victoria, building a reputation for results-focused treatments delivered with a calm, compassionate approach. Her specialties are advanced skin correction, laser treatments and age-prevention care – helping clients improve their skin and manage ongoing concerns for long-term results.
What sets Iballa apart is her attention to detail. She takes the time to understand each client's skin and goals, and builds a treatment plan that is realistic and personal. Her gentle, grounded manner puts even first-time clients at ease.
