How it works
We apply a thin layer of medical-grade carbon paste, which settles into your pores. Our Cynosure MedLite C6 Q-switched 1064nm laser is then passed over the skin and vaporises the carbon along with oil, dead skin cells and impurities. The heat also stimulates collagen, so the skin looks clearer and feels smoother straight away.
Why we use the Cynosure MedLite C6
- Medical-grade Q-switched laser. The same Cynosure laser we use for tattoo removal and skin rejuvenation, with nanosecond pulses that clear the carbon and the oil and debris it has drawn from your pores.
- Non-ablative. It works without removing layers of skin, so there's no peeling and you can wear make-up straight away.
- Even, flat-top beam. Energy is spread evenly across each treatment spot, which helps minimise injury to the skin's surface.
- Cleaner air. Our Alsident fume extraction system removes laser plume from the treatment-room air as we work, so you and your therapist aren't breathing it in.
How many sessions you'll need
You'll see an improvement after one session. For long-term change we recommend 3–6 treatments, 4–6 weeks apart, and many clients come back regularly to keep the glow.
