  Skin Type Suitability: 1 to 6

This peel is safe for most skin types, and no pre-peel preparation is required.

  Skin Type Suitability: 1 to 6
  An excellent introduction to chemical peel treatments. It soothes, refreshes, hydrates, and exfoliates the skin. Effective for managing mild to moderate acne and breakouts, with minimal downtime. This peel is safe for most skin types, including sensitive skins, and no pre-peel preparation is needed. Treatments are spaced at 2 to 4 weeks intervals, followed by maintenance.

 

• Accelerator Peel
  Skin Type Suitability: 1 to 4
  A light to moderate depth peel with vitamins, antioxidants, and hydroxy acids, targeting skin renewal, brightness, and smoothness. With a 42% concentration of lactic, glycolic, and mandelic acids, it improves skin tone and texture, fights acne, increases hydration, and strengthens collagen while preventing breakdown. This peel is suited to specific skin types, and pre-peel preparation and diligent aftercare are essential. Treatments are spaced at 4 to 6 week intervals, followed by maintenance for continued benefits.

 

• Ageless Peel
  Skin Type Suitability: 1 to 3
  A powerful medium-depth peel enriched with vitamin A, amino acids, and marine collagen, targeting visible signs of ageing and sun damage. It encourages a revitalised, smoother, and more even complexion, improving ageing skin, tone, texture, sun damage, and pigmentation. How do Chemical Peels work?
Chemical peels accelerate cell turnover, with results based on agent strength, active ingredients, and skin type. Peeling agents shed dead skin cells, revealing fresher skin and reducing sun damage, pigmentation, acne, clogged pores, fine lines, and wrinkles.

What areas can be treated?
Peels are commonly performed on the face and neck. However, the hands, décolletage can also be treated.
 
How many Chemical Peel treatments do I need? 

For optimal results we recommend anywhere from 3 to 6 treatments or more, depending on your skin concerns and the peel type. Then continue with maintenance.

 

How often can I do Chemical Peels?

Depending on the peel strength, treatments can safely be performed at 2 to 4 and 6 week intervals. 

 

What is the downtime for Chemical Peels?

Lighter intensity peels have minimal to no downtime, while medium and deeper peels need pre and post peel care. Redness, dryness, and mild flaking are normal after a peel. Deeper peels may have more downtime with swelling, redness, and flaking. Peels are generally safe for most skin types and will leave your skin looking fabulous and youthful!

 

How do I prepare for Chemical Peels?

• A thorough consultation and patient assessment are necessary to determine suitability for the treatment.

• If applicable, the treated area should be clean-shaven well before or at least 24 hours prior to the treatment.

• Avoid sunburns and excessive UV exposure before the treatment.

• If applicable to treatment area, clients with recent Botox and filler injections must wait 2 to 3 weeks (or as advised by their injection administrator) for all injectables to settle in before commencing the treatment.

• If applicable to treatment area, clients should attend their appointment make-up free.

• Active herpes, lesions, or other skin infections must not be present in the treatment area.

• If you suffer from herpes (applicable to treatment area), preventative measures are recommend.

• Follow the pre and post-care instructions provided by the clinic.

• Inform the practitioner of any medications, medical conditions, or recent procedures before the treatment.

Will Chemical Peels hurt?
Our chemical peels are generally pain-free for most clients. However, you may experience tingling and heat depending on the peel type. To minimise discomfort, we offer Zimmer Cooling, to ensure a more comfortable and enjoyable treatment experience.
