You can safely undergo carbon laser peel treatments at intervals of 4 to 6 or 8 weeks. This timeframe allows your skin to recover and maximise the benefits of each treatment while ensuring optimal results.

What is the downtime for Carbon Laser Peel?

The downtime for carbon laser peels is generally minimal to none for most clients. Mild redness may occur, but it usually passes quickly. In more reactive skin, minor redness can last up to a few days. Makeup can be applied after the treatment. After any laser procedure, it is essential to wear sufficient SPF protection when going outdoors, as your skin will be highly sensitive to UV rays for up to 14 days. How do I prepare for Carbon Laser Peel?

• A thorough consultation and patient assessment are necessary to determine suitability for the treatment.

• If applicable, the treated area should be clean-shaven well before or at least 24 hours prior to the treatment.

• Avoid sunburns and excessive UV exposure before the treatment.

• If applicable to treatment area, clients with recent Botox and filler injections must wait 2 to 3 weeks (or as advised by their injection administrator) for all injectables to settle in before commencing the treatment.

• If applicable to treatment area, clients should attend their appointment make-up free.

• Active herpes, lesions, or other skin infections must not be present in the treatment area.

• If you suffer from herpes (applicable to treatment area), preventative measures are recommend.

• Follow the pre and post-care instructions provided by the clinic.

• Inform the practitioner of any medications, medical conditions, or recent procedures before the treatment.
